Shri Pradeep Roka

Shri Pradeep Roka’s journey did not begin in the world of spirituality. It began in hospitality.

As a hotelier and entrepreneur, he spent years creating spaces built around care, experience, and service. His work brought him close to people from many walks of life travellers, professionals, teachers, and seekers each arriving with different intentions, yet often carrying the same quiet exhaustion.
Over time, something subtle began to unfold.

Wellness facilitators, meditation guides, and spiritual teachers began conducting programs within the hotels he managed. From the background, Pradeep observed not as a follower, but as a listener. He noticed how people arrived hurried and restless, and how some of them left calmer, clearer, and more at ease with themselves.
That shift stayed with him.
What drew his attention was not belief or ritual, but the human transformation that came from slowing down the way presence itself became a teacher. As his curiosity deepened, Pradeep began meeting with practitioners, guides, and teachers. He listened to their journeys, questioned their methods, and engaged in long conversations about inner work, learning, healing, and responsibility. These were not interviews or endorsements they were dialogues.
Through these exchanges, a realization took shape.
There was no single space that brought together learning, healing, reflection, movement, and lived experience in a way that felt honest, structured, and grounded in real life. And so, a decision was made. Pradeep chose to build a platform — not centered on one teacher, one method, or one belief — but a space that could hold many paths, while remaining rooted in clarity and care. A place where people could explore inward without pressure, labels, or performance. Alongside his work as an entrepreneur, Pradeep continued writing as an author, exploring themes of restlessness, identity, purpose, and the inner questions modern life often leaves unanswered. Explorer Pasos was born from this intersection
hospitality and humanity, inquiry and experience, movement and stillness.
It is not a retreat brand in the traditional sense.
It is not a spiritual institution.
It is a carefully created environment where people are invited to slow down, learn, and reconnect — one step at a time.
Today, through Explorer Pasos, Shri Pradeep Roka focuses on creating spaces — physical and experiential — where inner exploration feels human, ethical, and deeply grounded.
Not rushed.
Not idealized.
Just real.

A Living Practice of Stillness, Learning, and Awareness

Rooted in Experience, Not Theory

Explorer Pasos is not built on abstract ideas
or borrowed philosophies.

Everything we offer — retreats, healing work,
mindful travel, and learning —
comes from lived experience, observation,
and years of listening to what people
are actually struggling with.

We focus less on explaining traditions
and more on helping people
experience stillness, clarity, and presence
in a way that fits modern life.

Practice Over Performance

At Explorer Pasos, practice is simple, human,
and grounded.

Meditation, breath, movement, reflection,
and conscious travel are not treated
as spiritual achievements.

They are tools —
to slow the nervous system,
create inner space,
and learn how to live
with more awareness and less rush.

Questions You May
Be Holding

Answered with honesty, not exaggeration.

What exactly is Explorer Pasos?

Explorer Pasos is a school of inner exploration based in Rishikesh. We offer retreats, healing courses, meditation-through-travel experiences, workshops, and online learning all designed to help people slow down, reconnect, and live with more awareness. It is not a yoga studio or a tourism company.

Is Explorer Pasos only about yoga?

No. Yoga is one of the tools we use, but Explorer Pasos goes beyond yoga. Our work includes meditation, breath awareness, emotional regulation, reflection, conscious travel, and structured learning for daily life.

Do I need prior experience in meditation or yoga?

Not at all. Our programs are designed for beginners as well as experienced practitioners. Everything is guided gently, with respect for individual pace and comfort.

Who is Explorer Pasos for?

Explorer Pasos is for people who feel mentally tired, emotionally stretched, or disconnected — even if life looks “fine” from the outside. It is especially suited for those seeking depth, clarity, and stillness without pressure or spiritual performance.

Is this a religious or spiritual organization?

No. Explorer Pasos is not religious, and it does not promote any belief system. While we are rooted in Rishikesh, our approach is human, grounded, and inclusive, open to people from all backgrounds.

Are the programs intense or physically demanding?

No. Our focus is on nervous system calming, awareness, and presence, not physical exertion. Practices are gentle, optional, and adapted to individual needs.

Pause. Breathe. Reconnect.
